KOKEITA

KOKEITA is the ceramic practice of Caterina Viganó. The name comes from the Finnish kokeita — “experiments” — reflecting an ongoing research into form, material, and the expressive potential of gesture. Trained in visual and academic arts, Caterina worked for over a decade as a film and commercial director before returning to clay in 2018. KOKEITA took its definitive shape in 2021, bringing together her background in image-making with a material practice rooted in instinct and precision.
